Spectrum S-Flex 98A is a thermoplastic polyester polyurethane based filament that combines flexibility with excellent impact resistance and provides thermal insulation.
This filament offers a relatively easy and hassle-free 3D printing process. Its excellent first layer adhesion to the print platform, whether made of glass, steel, plastic or other material, minimizes the risk of curling the edges of printed parts due to minimal shrinkage and high flexibility.
The filament name 98A refers to the material's Shore hardness, which classifies Spectrum S-Flex 98A as a hard elastomer. This property minimizes filament deformation in the extrusion system and allows for relatively faster printing compared to other softer elastomers.
Parts made from Spectrum S-Flex 98A are characterized by high hydrolysis resistance, good recyclability and excellent ability to withstand dynamic forces.
Key features:
Flexible material for 3D printing
High resistance to hydrolysis
Up to 510% elongation at break
Shore 98A hardness
High tensile and tear strength
Minimal shrinkage
High resistance to common industrial oils and chemicals
Reduction of material leakage.
