Spectrum PET-G MATT is a PET-G-based material whose chemical composition has been modified to enable matte print surfaces. The matte appearance of manufactured parts significantly enhances their aesthetics, and also minimizes the visibility of layers on the side surfaces of manufactured parts.

The additional use of dopants resulted in improved temperature resistance, impact strength and reduced brittleness of the fabricated parts. Modification of Spectrum PET-G MATT also includedUV stabilization.

Confectioning

Filament wound on a transparent designer spool. The spool has information on the type of material, diameter, color and recommended printing temperature. Each spool vacuum-packed with moisture absorber. All in original foiled Spectrum Filaments carton.

Filament for 3D printers is produced using the free extrusion method. This is one of the most difficult extrusion processing techniques, due to the particularly strong influence of process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization.

During the production of Spectrum Filaments, every 1mm of material is measured continuously in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8µm, which allows for a high quality final product. As proof of this, Spectrum Filaments has introduced as one of the few manufacturers in the world the ability to present online individual parameters for each spool produced:
