PolyMax™ PLA is an incredibly easy to print filament with superior mechanical properties that is an excellent alternative to ABS.
What makes PolyMax™ PLA so different from other PLAs?
PolyMax™ PLA features our nano-reinforcement technology which greatly increases its ductility. Ductility is the ability of a material to exhibit plastic deformation before breaking.
Simply put, PolyMax™ PLA will always bend instead of breaking. Brittle materials can be considered the opposite of ductile materials.
Printing and drying setup?
Print temperature: 190˚C - 230˚C
Pad temperature: 25˚C - 60˚C
Print speed: 40 mm/s - 60 mm/s
Fan: on
Drying setting: 55˚C for 6 hours
(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)
What is the heat resistance temperature of PolyMax™ PLA material?
PolyMax™ PLA is a PLA-based product and exhibits a similar heat resistance temperature to conventional PLA: ~60˚C (glass transition temperature).
For similar printing capability with higher heat resistance, we can recommend PolyMax™ PETG (~80˚C).
