PolyFlex™ TPU95 is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) based filament that is specifically designed for most desktop 3D printers. It has a Shorea 95A hardness and can stretch to more than three times its original length.
Can my printer print PolyFlex™ TPU95?
We strongly recommend using a direct drive printer to print PolyFlex™ TPU95. A direct drive printer is a printer with an extruder mounted on top of the hot end.
Printing and drying setup?
Print temperature: 210˚C - 230˚C
Pad temperature: 25˚C - 60˚C
Print speed: 20 mm/s - 40 mm/s
Fan: on
Drying setting: 65˚C for 8 hours
(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)
What does 95 mean?
95 indicates the hardness of the material according to the Shore scale: 95 Shore A.
In 3D printing, the Shore hardness is only an indication of how flexible the printed part will be. However, it is also important to consider the percentage of fill, number of walls, top/bottom layers and layer height.
Coil dimensions?
1kg cardboard spool:
55±1mm coil inner hole diameter.
Coil diameter: 200±1mm
Coil width: 65.6±2mm
Coil weight: 140±7g
