Filament Roffelsen3D PLA Light Blue Refill
Roffelsen's 3D PLA filament is a homopolymer derived from corn starch. It is biodegradable under industrial, i.e. non-domestic composting conditions (temperature 58 °C,
90% biodegradation within a maximum of 6 months) and meets the requirements of EN 13432 and EN 14995.
PLA is a natural alternative to polyethylene. Roffelsen PLA 3D filament is easy to print and has no odour. It offers very good colour coverage and colour consistency between batches. It prints high-resolution details with good surface quality. It has low shrinkage and does not require a heated build plate.
Overall, PLA is not as strong as more technical materials, but some functional and mechanical parts can still be printed in PLA. The temperature resistance of PLA is limited to about 60°C.
Roffelsen 3D's PLA filament is designed for consumer/domestic use, but also for certain industrial applications: the production of everyday objects, toys, prototypes and for model making.
It offers the following properties:
Easy printing
Very good colour coverage
Colour consistency between batches
Low shrinkage
Odourless
Suitable for industrial composting (EN 13432 and EN 14995)
