Filament Polymaker PolyLite ABS Blue [1,75mm, 1kg]

PolyLite™ ABS is made from a special bulk polymerized ABS resin that has a significantly lower volatile content compared to traditional ABS resins. It provides excellent print quality with minimal odor during printing.

Which 3D printers can print PolyLite™ ABS?
Depending on the size of the models you are trying to print, PolyLite™ ABS may require a closed 3D printer or even an actively heated chamber.

In general, an unenclosed 3D printer with a bed temperature of 90˚C and a print temperature of 260˚C can handle models smaller than your fist. For larger prints, a closed 3D printer will be needed (~40-50˚C), and for models larger than ~15-20 cm in any direction, an actively heated chamber (~70˚C+) will be needed.

Using the right bed adhesion can also help print larger parts without warping/deformation issues.
We can recommend Magigoo or BuildTak as adhesive and bed surface options.

Printing and drying setup?
Print temperature: 245˚C - 265˚C
Bed temperature: 90˚C - 100˚C
Print speed: 30 mm/s - 50 mm/s
Fan: OFF

Drying setting: 70˚C for 6 hours
(Only if the material has absorbed moisture)

Can PolyLite™ ABS be post-treated with acetone?
Yes, PolyLite™ ABS can be smoothed with acetone.
WARNING: Acetone is a hazardous chemical, handle with necessary precautions.
