Filament DevilDesign HIPS Black
The 1.75 mm diameter HIPS printing filament in black DD offers considerable strength and durability, along with good thermal properties. It has been developed specifically for use on dual-head 3D printers, where one head creates the ABS or HIPS support structure and the other prints the ABS or HIPS model itself. The ABS support structures can be dissolved with acetone, while the HIPS structure is dissolved with lemonesol.
HIPS offers printing properties similar to ABS, making it a great material for printing large objects, with less twisting during printing. Mechanical properties are comparable to ABS, but with slightly less thermal shrinkage. The filament is also sandable and allows for surface finishing.
The spool has an outer diameter of 200 mm, an inner opening of 52 mm and a width of 70 mm. The total weight of the spool including the packaging is 1,4 kg.
