C-TECH TPU 90A – flexible filament for durable and flexible prints
C-TECH TPU 90A is a flexible 3D printing filament based on thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) that combines excellent flexibility with strength and wear resistance. With a Shore hardness of 90A, this material is soft enough for bending and deformation, yet rigid enough to hold its shape and provide mechanical stability even under demanding conditions.
TPU 90A is the ideal choice for printing parts that require high flexibility, impact resistance, and resistance to abrasion, oils, or common chemicals. This makes it a great material for creating functional components such as shock absorbers, gaskets, covers, electronics enclosures, shoe soles, straps, robot bodies, and much more.
Advantages of C-TECH TPU 90A
- High elasticity – up to 500% elongation before breaking
- Resistance to mechanical stress and wear
- Good chemical resistance – suitable for applications where contact with oils, greases, or fuels is likely
- Low shrinkage – prints hold their shape even without a heated chamber
- Excellent adhesion between layers – resulting in strong, cohesive parts
- Odorless and easy to print – the material is also suitable for beginners

Printing recommendations
A direct extruder is ideal for printing TPU filaments – Bowden feed may be more difficult due to the flexibility of the material.
It is recommended to reduce the print speed to ensure a stable material feed and high-quality layering.
The bed can be slightly preheated (30–60 °C) and it is recommended to use an adhesive agent or PEI plate.
The material is sensitive to moisture, so it is a good idea to dry it before printing (e.g., 4–6 hours at 50 °C) or store it in an airtight box with a desiccant.
Applications
Protective covers and cases
Seals, pads, shock absorbers
Flexible couplings and mechanical parts
Prototypes of footwear and orthopedic aids
Flexible models for hobby, RC models, and robotics
Thanks to its ratio of flexibility, durability, and ease of processing, C-TECH TPU 90A is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to push the boundaries of 3D printing into the world of soft but robust materials.
