Product description - Fibre with exceptional mechanical and heat resistance
This fibre stands out for its remarkable mechanical strength and resistance to high temperatures. After thermal annealing, it is able to withstand temperatures up to 75 to 85 °C.
Advantages of thermal annealing
Through the annealing process, it is possible to produce highly durable parts that are easy to machine. This material is an ideal replacement for other engineering plastics such as ABS. Annealing can be carried out either by immersion in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes or by heating in a furnace at temperatures between 100 and 110 °C.
Procedure for optimum results
To keep the product stable during annealing, it is recommended to print with 100% fill and add 1% to the dimensions on all axes to compensate for any shrinkage. The filament allows for high resolution printing and is ideal for complex and detailed parts. It has an excellent ability to prevent warping and is suitable for printing complex structures such as bridges without the need for supports. Its excellent resistance to impact, bending and friction enables the creation of highly durable parts.
Versatile use and excellent value
This filament offers exceptional value for money, making it suitable for advanced and professional users as well as 3D printing beginners.
Possible applications
- Prototypes: ideal for fasteners and components requiring high temperature resistance.
- Tooling and components.
- Electronic equipment: Perfect for making phone cases, stands and key rings.
- Toys: can be used to make building blocks, robot parts and other automotive components.
- Home Furnishings: Useful for printing coat hangers, flower pots and vases.
This material provides a wide range of possibilities for different applications due to its excellent mechanical and heat resistance.
